Itinerary

  • La Delizia Latticini - Fresh Italian Cheesemaking (Behind the Scenes)

Step inside a traditional Italian cheesemaking facility where fresh cheeses are made daily using time-honoured methods. Watch as mozzarella, stracciatella, burrata, ricotta and bocconcini are crafted right in front of you, while learning about the techniques and care that go into producing these delicate, high-moisture cheeses. You’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the difference between freshly made cheese and what you typically find on the shelf - with the opportunity to taste just how good it can be.

  • Miller + Baker - Regenerative Grain, On-Site Milling & Bakery Visit

Go behind the scenes at a unique urban mill and bakery where regeneratively grown Western Australian wheat is milled on-site and baked into exceptional sourdough bread. See how grain is transformed into flour right in front of you, and learn how farming practices, milling and baking all influence flavour, texture and nutrition. After your visit, enjoy a fresh pastry of your choice with coffee or tea - a delicious way to experience the quality of the ingredients and craftsmanship firsthand.

  • Brownes Dairy - Hosted Visit at Western Australia’s Oldest Dairy

Visit Western Australia’s oldest dairy brand, with a history spanning more than 140 years, and gain insight into large-scale milk production and processing. On this hosted experience, you’ll learn how milk moves from farm to bottle, with an overview of the production and bottling processes that have made Brownes a household name across the state. A fun blind tasting in the education facility plus try the unique cheese range. This is a rare opportunity for adults to visit and engage with a working dairy at this scale, offering a different perspective on the industry alongside smaller artisan producers.

  • Wards Central Dining - Hosted Lunch from One of Perth’s Leading Bakery Groups

Sit down to a relaxed, hosted lunch at Wards Dining, part of one of Perth’s leading bakery groups known for serving honest, well-made food using quality local ingredients. The menu reflects a strong connection to local growers and producers, with a focus on simple, flavour-driven dishes that let the ingredients speak for themselves. This is a chance to pause, enjoy generous food and see how the same commitment to craft found in the bakery carries through to the plate.
