Localler Cancellation Policy

When a Localler cancels a booking, it not only affects the Mingoer ’s experience but also impacts your chance of getting future bookings.
We strongly encourage you to do everything possible to fulfill your bookings. Your reliability builds trust – both with us and with Mingoers.
If you must cancel, this Localler Cancellation Policy will apply.
How to Submit a Cancellation Request
To cancel your booking, please send an email to our support team at support@localmingo.com, with the following information:
- Email Subject: Request for booking cancellation by Localler
- Your Full Name : The same name used for your tour/experience
- Tour/Experience Details: Name of the tour/experience, including the date, time, and number of people
- Name of Mingoer(s): The name of the Mingoer(s) who booked the tour/experience
- Supporting Documents: Relevant documents to support your request (for example, if the cancellation is due to unforeseeable event)
Booking Cancelled by Mingoer:

Join-in + Single-day tour/experience (join-in tour/experience completed within the same calendar day):
- If a Mingoer cancels less than 1 day (24 hours) before the start time of the tour/experience, you will receive 100% of payment (minus Localmingo fees + GST if applicable).
- If a Mingoer cancels 1 day (24 hours) or more before the scheduled start time of the tour/experience, you will not receive any payment.

Private + Single-day tour/experience (private tour/experience completed within the same calendar day):
- If a Mingoer cancels less than 5 days (120 hours) before the start time of the tour/experience, you will receive 100% of payment (minus Localmingo fees + GST if applicable).
- If a Mingoer cancels 5 days (120 hours) or more before the scheduled start time of the tour/experience, you will not receive any payment.

Multi-day tour/experience (lasting more than 1 calendar day)
- if a Mingoer cancels less than 7 days (168 hours) before the start time of the tour/experience, you will receive 100% of payment (minus Localmingo fees + GST if applicable).
- If a Mingoer cancels 7 days (168 hours) or more before the scheduled start time of the tour/experience, you will not receive any payment.
However, this is subject to cancellation due to unforeseeable events. In such case, no payment will be made to you, regardless of the timing of the cancellation.
Confirmation of Booking Requests
You must confirm acceptance or rejection of a booking request from Mingoer within 48 hours. If you do not confirm within this time range, the booking request will expire and no payment will be made to you.
Localler’s Cancellation
Once a booking’s acceptance is confirmed, you must not cancel the booking, except in genuine emergency or unforeseeable events.
Any cancellation by the Localler may result in account penalties, including:
- Lower visibility
- Lower search ranking
- Listing suspension
- Account suspension or termination
In addition to the above, if you cancel 2 or more bookings, without providing reasonable and verifiable justification, Localmingo reserves the right to:
- Terminate your Localler account
- Delist your offerings permanently
You are expected to maintain a high level of reliability and customer trust.
Localler No-Show Policy
You must show up on time for every booking.
- A no-show (failure to appear or late arrival without notice) is a serious breach of this policy.
- Any no-show will result in:
- Immediate cancellation of the booking;
- No payment to you;
- A strike on your record with lower visibility or search ranking; and/or
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account
Cancellation Due to Unforeseeable Event
If you have to cancel a booking due to unforeseeable events that prevent you from fulfilling your role as a guide or host, you must notify us immediately and provide evidence where possible. In such case, penalties may be waived at the discretion of Localmingo.
If Localmingo or a Mingoer needs to cancel a booking due to unforeseeable events, such as travel restrictions imposed by governments, epidemic disease unusual to an area, war, civil insurrection, strike, and natural disaster - we will refund the Mingoer. This means you will not be paid.
Rescheduling or Modifying Booking
If you need to reschedule the date or time of your tour/experience, and the Mingoer agrees to your proposed date and time, please contact us at support@locamingo.com immediately and include all relevant details along with proof of the Mingoer’s consent to the new date and time so that we can assist you with the rescheduling.
If the Mingoer does not agree to your proposed changes, the standard cancellation policy and any applicable account penalties will apply.

Amendments to Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to modify or update this cancellation policy at any time by amending these terms. Any changes will apply to all bookings made from the date the updated policy is published onward.
