Hello, I'm Chris Lacoste.

My love for nature runs deep​,​ and I am passionate about creating meaningful outdoor experiences. My journey began in high school outdoor education. From there​,​ I spent eight years studying the outdoors at university​,​ earning a Master of Arts in Transcultural European Outdoor Studies (TEOS). Over my 21-year career​,​ I have worked as an outdoor instructor​,​ polytechnic tutor​,​ and secondary school teacher across New Zealand. In 2016​,​ I founded our guiding company to help people connect with nature in a more conscious way. Based in Auckland​,​ our team leads authentic adventures beyond the usual tourist trails. We offer unique experiences like sea kayaking​,​ kiwi spotting​,��� stargazing​,​ and bioluminescence tours.
