Pete collects guests from their central accommodation before driving west toward Mid Canterbury.
Rakaia Gorge Jet Boating
Arrive at Rakaia Gorge for an exhilarating 45-minute jet boat tour along glacial waters and limestone canyon walls with big 360° spins!
Opuke Hot Pools & Lunch (Methven)
Head to Methven to unwind with a 2-hour soothing soak in the Tranquility Thermal Pools, followed by a delicious included lunch at the Opuke venue.
The Blue Pub (Methven)
Stop at Methven’s famous historical Blue Pub for one complimentary drink on us.
Return Drive to Christchurch
Enjoy a relaxed drive back through Canterbury plains, dropping off at your Christchurch hotel by ~5:30 PM.

End Point

Returns back to your Christchurch accommodation at approximately 5:30 PM.

Minimum Participant Requirement: This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants to operate. If the minimum number is not reached, we will offer to reschedule your trip or process a full refund.
What to Bring: Swimwear, warm clothing layer, water bottle, and any personal medication.
Dietary Requirements: Please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when booking.
Not Suitable For: Children under 6 years old or under 20 kg (44 lbs), pregnant women, individuals over 75 years, people with back problems, mobility impairments, wheelchair users, or recent surgeries, cruise ship passengers (due to timing restrictions; cruise bookings considered on a case-by-case basis for late ship departures only).

Safety on the river is our top priority. Jet Boat Weather Dependency: Jet boating is weather-dependent. If high rainfall causes river levels in the Rakaia River to rise unsafely, we will make itinerary adjustments or offer a full refund if the activity cannot proceed.
