Arrive in Kumeū and visit your first carefully selected cellar door. Enjoy a guided tasting flight showcasing the region's famous cool-climate whites, including world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Gris.
Behind-the-Scenes Tour at a 5th-Generation Family Vineyard

Age Limit for Alcohol: Guests must be 18 years or older with valid photo identification to participate in wine tastings. Non-alcoholic options or soft drinks can be requested for younger guests or non-drinkers.
What to Bring: Valid photo ID (passport or driver's license), comfortable walking shoes, camera, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing.
Child Safety Seats: Please notify us if you are traveling with children under 7 years of age so we can provide a suitable safety seat. We will need the exact age, height, and weight of each child under 7.
Prohibited Items & Activities: Smoking, drones, pets (assistance dogs allowed), outside alcohol/drugs, or intoxication are strictly not permitted.

Plan B

Wine tasting experiences are mostly indoor-based at private cellar doors and barrel rooms, making this tour suitable in nearly all weather conditions. In the event of extreme rain or severe weather, outdoor vineyard walks will be replaced with extended indoor barrel-tasting sessions, cellar tours, and cozy fireside tasting flights at partner wineries. If severe weather requires the tour to be cancelled prior to departure, and you choose not to proceed with a modified schedule, you will receive a full refund.
