Itinerary
Tasman Bay National Park Lookout
Kickstart the morning with a truly spectacular sweeping view of where the untamed ocean meets the rugged coastline. Here, we will pause to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea or coffee, soaking in the pristine air and peaceful scenery of this beautiful national park entrance.
Tessellated Pavement
Next, we visit a natural phenomenon that is extremely rare across the globe. Over millions of years, nature has fractured these coastal rocks into perfect, polygonal blocks that look remarkably like precise, man-made tiles. This unique site is world-famous among photographers for its striking patterns and coastal beauty.
Tasman Arch|Devil's Kitchen
Marvel at the immense power of the Tasman Sea. The Tasman Arch is a colossal, towering natural bridge carved straight out of the Peninsula’s sea cliffs, sitting alongside the dramatic chasms of the Devil’s Kitchen. ✨ Optional Bonus: Depending on the group's pace, we can take a scenic stroll out to the Waterfall Bay Lookout.
Port Arthur Lavender Farm
We'll break for lunch surrounded by stunning rows of fragrant lavender. Take your time to enjoy a delicious meal or a hot cup of coffee with beautiful farm views. Before leaving, be sure to treat yourself to their famous lavender ice cream and browse the beautiful boutique shop filled with locally handcrafted lavender products.
Remarkable Cave & Maingon Bay
First, take in the breathtaking, wind-swept vistas of the rugged southern coastline from the Maingon Bay Lookout. From there, we descend the viewing steps down to the spectacular Remarkable Cave. Enjoy a short 15-minute return walk to look through the sea cave—and be prepared to catch a little ocean spray!
Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry
Nestled in the heart of Taranna on the rugged East Coast, this is the sweetest stop on our journey. The Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry specializes in a large range of exquisite, hand-forged chocolate products. Indulge your sweet tooth and tantalize your tastebuds with delicious treats crafted from the finest Belgian Couverture chocolate.
Drop off point & time to say goodbye
After an incredible day of wild nature, rare geology, and local flavors, we will head back to Hobart to drop you back at your starting point and say our goodbyes.
End Point
The tour wraps up with a convenient drop-off right back at your original departure point.
