Hello, I'm Chaboo.
Originally from Taiwan, I now proudly call Hobart, Tasmania home. My journey here began with a deep love for this wild island and a simple dream—to share Tasmania’s untamed beauty with the world in a way that feels personal, authentic, and unforgettable. For over two and a half years, I have been guiding travellers through Southern Tasmania’s most breathtaking landscapes. As a dedicated photographer, fishing enthusiast, and wildlife lover, my connection to the island’s natural rhythms runs deep. For me, exploring nature should be more than just sightseeing - it should be an immersive experience that truly connects you to the place, its culture, and its stories. I am incredibly passionate about our island’s rich history, pristine nature, and local culture, and I love nothing more than taking guests "off the beaten track" to discover remote beaches, beautiful white sands, and hidden views that larger tour buses completely miss. My Tour Philosophy: 🌿 Intimate & Sustainable: I specialize in custom-designed, eco-tourism small group experiences (strictly capped at a maximum of 11 persons) to ensure your day is intimate, low-impact, and tailored to your interests. 🌊 Curated Landscapes: My itineraries focus on creating meaningful moments in Southern Tasmania’s most stunning regions - from the raw, dramatic coastlines of the Tasman Peninsula to the tranquil, isolated beauty of Bruny and Maria Islands. We focus on natural wonders, local wildlife encounters, local flavours, and true hidden gems. 🌐 Bilingual Storytelling: As a fully bilingual guide fluent in English and Mandarin, I love welcoming travellers from all corners of the globe, bridging cultures through warm hospitality, storytelling, and genuine care. 📷 Stay Present, I’ll Handle the Camera: Photography is a massive passion of mine. Because I look at the world through a photographer's lens, I love capturing beautiful, candid moments for my guests throughout the journey. This means you can stay completely present in the wilderness and take incredible memories home without ever worrying about the camera. I can't wait to welcome you on board and show you the Tasmania I fell in love with!
