Having spent more than 30 years riding waves across the globe​,​ surfing isn’t just my passion - it’s my life’s work. My journey began at the young age of four​,​ and by 13​,​ I was already on patrol as a surf lifesaver at Manly���s North Steyne beach. Over the past two decades​,​ I’ve had the privilege of sharing that love for the ocean as an experienced surf coach and tour operator​,​ teaching everyone from absolute beginners to advanced surfers across Australia and the US. You might even recognize me as “Seagull” from the 1981 cult classic film Puberty Blues​,​ or from my work in theatre​,​ music festival coordination​,​ and landscape design​,​ but the ocean has always been my true home. With over 20 years of professional coaching experience​,​ I hold qualifications as an ASI Level 3 Surfing Coach​,​ an official ASI Surfing Trainer​,​ and possess deep expertise in ocean safety and surf rescue. Beyond traditional beach lessons​,​ I specialize in leading unforgettable surfing tours through remote coastal regions​,​ guiding adventurers through rugged landscapes and camping under the stars along Australia’s stunning coastline. Today​,​ in addition to running personalized coaching sessions and tours​,​ I train the next generation of ASI surfing instructors across the country to ensure the highest standards of safety​,​ technique​,​ and enjoyment on the water.
