Hello, I'm Martin (Skip).
Hi, I'm Martin - though most people call me Skip! Originally from New Zealand, my journey as a guide has taken me across the globe, leading everything from scuba diving expeditions in tropical waters to stargazing tours under open skies. Today, I’m proud to call Perth, Western Australia home. Outside of guiding, I’m a father of two with a big passion for restoring classic cars. My heart truly lies in nature and wildlife conservation. I spend one day every week volunteering at a local wildlife rehabilitation centre in Perth, giving back to the native animals that make Australia so special. The rest of my time is spent running intimate, small-group eco-tours into the magnificent Dryandra Woodlands - a remarkable conservation reserve nestled in the WA Wheatbelt region. Western Australia is blessed with extraordinary biodiversity, pristine coastlines, sweeping wild landscapes, and crystal-clear night skies. Together with my team partner Gavin, we aim to deliver unforgettable experiences that foster deep appreciation for Australia’s unique ecosystems. A highlight of our journeys is visiting the Barna Mia Sanctuary, where Parks and Wildlife officers carry out crucial sanctuary work to protect some of Australia’s most endangered marsupials.
