Hi​,​ I’m Ian. My passion for cycling and the outdoors has taken me around the globe​,​ but South Australia is the place I’m proudest to call home. My guiding journey began when I moved to Adelaide in 2002 and started exploring the Adelaide Hills on two wheels. In 2006​,​ I moved to the French Alps to spend two years as the head mountain bike guide for a British adventure company. While in Europe​,​ I earned my Mountain Bike Leaders Award (MBLA) through British Cycling—one of the highest internationally recognized qualifications for mountain bike guiding and instruction. With over 25 years of experience in outdoor tourism across Australia​,​ New Zealand​,​ and internationally​,​ I established my guiding operation in Adelaide in 2008. Based right on the edge of Belair National Park—just 25 minutes from Adelaide—my focus today is on creating high-quality​,​ accessible​,​ and flexible cycling experiences.
