Overview
Located just 30 minutes from Airlie Beach, Cedar Creek Falls is an ancient natural oasis carved into the rainforest canopy over millions of years. This express 3-hour eco-tour offers a refreshing escape to swim beneath a stunning natural waterfall and cool off in crystal-clear freshwater rock pools year-round. Before you walk down to the water, our team sets up tables, chairs, pool noodles, and water shoes for your comfort. Enjoy a delicious morning or afternoon tea by the water featuring fresh fruit, cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee, and homemade banana bread baked fresh right before departure. Led by D'artagnan or one of his expert, accredited EcoGuides, you'll also learn about the rich Aboriginal cultural history of Cedar Creek and the surrounding country. Whether you choose to relax by the water, swim with provided pool noodles, or follow your guide along trails leading through the rainforest canopy, this tour provides a deep, personalized connection to tropical North Queensland's natural beauty. Backed by the 2026 Best of Queensland Experiences Gold Award and dual eco-certifications from Ecotourism Australia, this all-weather tour delivers an unforgettable experience in every season.
