Itinerary

  • Welcome & Creative Briefing

We’ll kick off with a warm welcome and a quick run-through of the evening. Before we start shooting, I’ll share fundamental, easy-to-use photography tips on lighting and composition that you can immediately apply, no matter your gear or skill level.

  • Rex Smeal Park

Capture the iconic palm tree silhouettes against the sweeping coastal backdrop. Here, we will focus on composition, looking at how to use natural lines in the landscape to lead the viewer's eye and frame the perfect shot.

  • St Mary’s by the Sea

Photograph this beautiful, historic white chapel framed by lush tropical greenery and dramatic mountain backdrops. I'll guide you on how to use foreground elements and symmetry to capture a balanced, story-driven image.

  • The Sugar Wharf

As the sun begins to dip behind the mountains, we’ll capture the softening light bouncing off this historic wooden wharf. This is the prime spot for learning how to capture wide-angle scenes, water reflections, and the moody silhouettes of passing boats.

  • Crystalbrook Marina

Our final shooting location offers calm waters and vibrant post-sunset skies. We’ll dive into low-light photography, capturing movement, and getting creative as twilight sets in and the marina lights begin to glow.

End Point

Crystal Brook Marina
