Before reaching the mountain, there’s time in Mansfield to organise any snow gear and prepare for the alpine conditions ahead. Continue up to Mt Buller, where you’ll be dropped at the resort transit shuttle into the alpine village. From there, enjoy several hours on the mountain at your own pace — whether that’s skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, exploring the village or simply soaking in the alpine atmosphere. - Bring warm layered clothing (thermal base layers recommended)
- Bring waterproof jacket, gloves and beanie, waterproof boots or sturdy enclosed shoes
- Bring sunglasses (snow glare can be strong), and spare clothes (recommended for snow play)

- If you don’t have snow gear, we stop in Mansfield before heading up the mountain where you can hire clothing and equipment. We recommend dressing in warm, layered clothing for comfort.
- Mt Buller is suitable for families and offers dedicated toboggan areas, snow play zones and beginner-friendly facilities, making it a great option for children.
